💦 Upper Falls is the southernmost large waterfall in Letchworth State Park. 🚂 The arched bridge above it is an active railroad bridge for the Norfolk Southern rail company. While you can’t walk on it, the bridge sure does frame the falls well. 🔥 This bridge was finished in 2017 as a replacement for “Old Shaky,” the iron trestle bridge built in 1875. MIddle Falls at Letchworth State Park is a spectacular sight. This is the largest of the three waterfalls in the park--107 feet high and 285 feet wide. The Seneca called it 'Ska-ga-dee' and believed that the great beauty of this waterfall inspired the sun to stop at midday in admiration.
