2003 Yamaha F115, cleaned up and put back together. Little stainless brushing and corrosion X will really do wonders. Water pump removal. Yamaha F115. removed the lower unit for diagnosing a oil leak and found the water pump to be covered with engine oil, plus the customer couldn’t remember the last time it was changed so it was due. Plastic collar fought me on this one, usually i just heat it up with the torch and make it liquid if it fights. Yamaha F115 oil pump installation. I removed the lower unit and then removed the powerhead. Next i cleaned up the lower cowling and exhaust guide, then removed the oil pump and cleaned up the mating surface . Now it’s ready for the new oil pump and orings.
