If you were a fan of the original “Battlestar Galactica” then you were probably not a fan of its low budget reboot “Galactica 1980”. Done on the cheap compared to the first which was the most expensive show ever on TV at the time, the 80s version didn’t have much of the original cast and an odd concept of finding Colonial children on earth—it only lasted 10 episodes. But it did have these crazy space bikes and honestly this was the only scene I remember from it. It’s sorta like a Chips / Battles
