It's just not all parrots you know. This cormorant was rescued by Belize Animal Rescue (BAR) and transferred to BBR and was in a very poor shape. He had a fairly large parasite loading but also seemed to have injured one of his wings somehow. After a few meds, and with some rest at BBR he soon got better and was able to be released not too far from where he was found. We had a call from Derick, Belize Audubon Society’s head ranger at Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary. He found an adult Ringed Kingfisher, extremely skinny, unable to fly but with no fractures or obvious injuries.
