These are wood-heated non-electric cabins available for $38.50 per night or $154 for the week. I like to video cabins that I’ve never stayed in before. Two weeks ago was Hamlin 2. Hamlin 2 & 1 sit on too of a small hill overlooking the newer Diehl facility building. Separated from the rest of Hamlin Trail, it is buffered even more by Hamlin 3, a two-room which is an emergency hold cabin. These two Hamlin cabins are non-electric and the site has its own water spigot. | Allegany

The moment we’ve all been waiting for, the opening of three out of the four new facility buildings in the Quaker cabin area. The newer section of the Quaker bike path has it’s pavement completed, verified in person yesterday. Just some finishing touches on the landscaping in preparation for Thursday’s Dedication Ceremony. Happy Victoria Day to the many Canadian campers staying over the extra day at the park! | Allegany
