Amplify Buff is a fairly niche stat useful mainly for Candy Diver (even then cooldown is better). It extends the length of a buff on the cookie itself, rather than the duration of the buffs it provides.

Jan 13, 2022 · It amplifies buffs recieved, meaning it won't have an effect on the cookie giving the buff. Important note: Amplify only increases the potency of heals and shields recieved. Buffs will only have increased durations.

What counts as a "buff" for the Shimmering Veil? It says "cost is equal to 24 hours of unbuffed CpS" but I'm not sure what counts as a "buff". Golden Switch doesn't seem to count (I turned it off and the cost went down accordingly), neither do the sugar lump boosts, the Spirits, or the Auras (at least not Radiant Appetite).
