Twenty seven headstones have been knocked over, split, or broken at the Cookeville City Cemetery. The Mayor says while they work to repair them, they’re also looking to catch whoever did this.

In addition to the vote to reject the settlement, the council also voted to oppose any expansion of landfill capacity.
