Four of the five workers trapped in a Chilean copper mine that partially collapsed this week have been found dead, authorities said Sunday, as rescue workers continue their search for the remaining miner trapped in the debris.

SANTIAGO >> Four of five trapped workers at Codelco’s El Teniente copper mine have been found dead, the company said on Sunday, as rescue teams work to clear underground passages that collapsed in a strong tremor last week.

Chilean copper miner Codelco on Sunday said two more workers trapped at its El Teniente mine were found dead, bringing the toll of fatalities from a collapse last week to four.
