Donnie Wahlberg is gearing up for the premiere of his Blue Bloods spinoff, Boston Blue, teasing that fans won’t be disappointed in how it starts. “The first episode is going to blow people's minds,” Wahlberg,

“Interest in the Reagan family and the ‘Blue Bloods’ universe is deep seated and truly global making this next chapter, led by the brilliant Donnie Wahlberg with its new setting, characters and stories, a perfect premiere on the eve of Mipcom Cannes this year,” said Lucy Smith, director of Mipcom Cannes and Mip Junior.

Boston Blue will have its world premiere in Cannes at MIPCOM on Oct. 12, ahead of the series’ U.S. debut on CBS on Oct. 17. Series lead and executive producer Donnie Wahlberg and co-star Sonequa Martin-Green are set to attend the premiere and participate in a post-screening Q&A.
