Lakers rookie Dalton Knecht he is happy to be back with the organization after rejoining the team following a failed trade with the Hornets.

At the NBA trade deadline, the Los Angeles Lakers sent Dalton Knecht to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for big man Mark Williams. This trade came as a bit of a shock since Knecht was in the midst of a solid rookie season, but the Hornets center projected to serve as a lob threat for Luka Doncic.

Despite earlier reports, the Hornets have not filed a protest with the NBA over the failed Mark Williams-Dalton Knecht trade.
