During WFAN's Friday afternoon drive show, host and former Giants running back Tiki Barber revealed that "conversations are happening" with the Giants and Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor to let Carter wear No. 56, which was Taylor's number during his 13-season career.

Asked what number he'll wear with the New York Giants, edge rusher Abdul Carter said "56 sounds real good" but admitted that may not be possible.
