Uche Ojeh, the husband of NBC Today co-anchor Sheinelle Jones, has died at age 45 after battling an aggressive form of brain cancer. The news was announced on the NBC morning show Friday.

Prior to Uche Ojeh's death of glioblastoma, Sheinelle Jones worked as a co-host on NBC's morning show 'Today' since 2014.

After sharing the news of Sheinelle Jones’ husband’s death, “Today Show” co-hosts Carson Daly and Savannah Guthrie shared messages to Jones’ three kids. Both Daly and Guthrie lost their respective fathers at a young age. Daly explained he was 5 years old when his father died; Guthrie was 16.
