The "Today" show family is speaking out after the death of co-anchor Sheinelle Jones' husband Uche Ojeh from the aggressive brain cancer glioblastoma.

Uche Ojeh, the husband of ‘Today’ co-host Sheinelle Jones has died following a battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer, it was announced Friday on the morning show.

Sheinelle Jones and her husband Uche Ojeh had been married for nearly 18 years when he died at age 45 following a glioblastoma diagnosis and long illness. The 'Today' show co-host met her husband at Northwestern University in the late '90s and has been with him ever since.
