The Golden State Warriors will not trade restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga, according to NBA reporter Tim Kawakami of The San Francisco Standard.

Per the San Francisco Standard's Tim Kawakami, the Golden State Warriors don't plan to trade Kuminga this summer and he'll be on the team's roster to star the season. Kawakami noted that Kuminga's pathways back to the Warriors are to accept the team's offer or to take the $7.9 million qualifying offer that Golden State extended to him.

The Warriors have thus far been unwilling to give Kuminga the type of contract he's looking for, which is closer to the $30 million a year range. That's far above the $20-$23 mill
