Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents used riot gear as they clashed with protestors during a series of raids in Los Angeles where they ended up detaining more than 40 people. Separate raids by ICE agents earlier this week at a Home Depot and two separate clothing outlet stores drew crowds of protestors on Friday.

California governor and federal officials traded blame after ICE raids and a violent protest rocked the L.A.-area city of Paramount.

The raid at the Home Depot at 6400 Alondra Blvd., drew crowds that turned over shopping carts and other objects in the street, while federal authorities in riot gear stood by.
