Mumbai Indians made one change in their playing XII for the game against Lucknow Super Giants with the former captain Rohit Sharma missing out. MI skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to field while Akash Deep will be making his debut for the Lucknow Super Giants.

Earlier Hardik Pandya had won the toss and had put Lucknow into bat who posted 203/8 thanks to half-centuries from Mitchell Marsh 60(31) and Aiden Markram 53(38)

Mumbai Indians, under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, commenced their batting duties after winning the toss against Lucknow Super Giants and their skipper, Rishabh Pant, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
