Centenary University names president to replace new Lt. Gov. Caldwell

Centenary University in Warren County has named Bishop John R. Schol to replace Dale Caldwell, who was elected lieutenant governor in November.

Led by Chandler Cuthrell's 23 points, the Elon Phoenix defeated the Appalachian State Mountaineers 88-53 on Monday. The Phoenix are now 4-2 with the victory and the Mountaineers fell to 4-3.
