NBA fans aren't the only ones excited to see Luka Dončić's return to face the Dallas Mavericks after his former team traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The biggest trade in arguably all of sports occurred on Saturday night when the Dallas Mavericks traded their superstar and face of the franchise, Luka Dončić, to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for their superstar Anthony Davis.

Outside of the D-FW area, excitement is already building for Doncic’s debut with the Lakers after he was dealt to LA in exchange for Anthony Davis-plus. In fact, ESPN is shuffling its lineup around and will be airing Doncic’s anticipated first game with LA when the Lakers play the Pacers on Saturday.

Like the rest of the basketball world, Minnesota Timberwolves star shooting guard Anthony Edwards still couldn’t believe that Luka Doncic is now with the Los Angeles Lakers and that the Dallas Mavericks traded the 25-year-old Slovenian last weekend.
