The former pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church has permanently dropped a lawsuit he filed in June against the church and seven church leaders.
The pastor of the second-largest Baptist church in the Waco area, Columbus Avenue Baptist Church, resigned abruptly Sunday morning and reportedly is undergoing counseling for personal problems.
