A Sebastian treasure hunter seeks a permit to keep searching for treasure among 10 Spanish ships that sank during a 1715 hurricane.

The 1715 Fleet was carrying gold, silver, pearls, diamonds, emeralds and other jewels when the 11 Spanish ships sank in a hurricane that year.

Historians are mystified over intended purpose of solid silver lion found among artifacts on a ship that sank in 1715 off coast of Florida.
