Haleyville, has issued a new statement saying that Social Security Administration offices will remain open in spite of Alabama-based SSA offices being listed by the Department

Rep. Robert Aderholt released a statement Wednesday to address concerns regarding changes being made to Alabama's Social Security offices.

But Sen. Linda-Coleman Madison, D-Birmingham, said the negative impact of these cuts goes far beyond Social Security office services. “This is going to have a huge impact on our local economy and Alabama’s workforce,” she said. “Alabama has taken pride in reducing our unemployment rates; seems like our president is reversing this trend.”

Congressman Robert Aderhold (R-AL) issued a statement regarding changes taking place at Social Security offices throughout the state.
