Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward is urging people to have patience as the Steelers continue their pursuit of Aaron Rodgers. The team and Rodgers have been discussing the matter for over two months, and they still have no final answer from the four-time MVP.

"As the Pittsburgh Steelers passed on the opportunity to draft a quarterback early in the 2025 draft, they opted for Ohio State’s Will Howard in the sixth round, recognizing the need for a fallback if negotiations with veteran Aaron Rodgers fall through," Hadley wrote.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been recently attracted to players with family connections to the team. After drafting the son of former Steelers first round pick Mark Bruener this past weekend, Pittsburgh doesn’t seem to be done adding to its recent trend.
