Update: Canyon Fire in Ventura County at nearly full containment
Canyon Fire initially started 1:25 p.m. Aug. 7 in Los Angeles, Ventura County, California. Since its discovery five days ago, it has burned 5,370 acres. A fire crew of 960 has been working on site and, as of Tuesday evening, they managed to contain 97% of the fire. However, the cause is still being investigated.
