The Vancouver Canucks traded J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers in an effort to resolve locker-room tensions. According to NHL insider Frank Seravalli, however, the move has not been well received by many players and the problems within the Canucks locker room are far from over.

The Canucks were reportedly highly interested in acquiring Drew Fortescue, but got Victor Mancini from the Rangers instead.

Star center J.T. Miller is on his way back to the New York Rangers as the Vancouver Canucks are shipping the center for Filip Chytil, Vincent Mancini and a protected first-round draft pick per NHL insider Frank Seravalli. He has been scratched from Vancouver's lineup for Friday night's road game against the Dallas Stars.
