Conditions of the Potomac River Saturday have improved as officials recover the remains of people who died in the collision.

Crews have recovered and identified the bodies of 55 victims in the deadly aircraft collision over Washington, D.C. as of Sunday afternoon, officials said.All 67 people involved in the mid-air collision between an Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines jet near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport are presumed dead.
