Texas volleyball, which has yet to drop a set in the NCAA Tournament, will face Wisconsin in an Elite Eight match Sunday at Gregory Gymnasium in Austin

After another impressive season of volleyball dominance, the Wisconsin Badgers took home a long list of honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association for its All-Region teams.

Wisconsin in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA tournament in Austin, Texas. Wisconsin senior outside hitter Mimi Colyer led the way for the Badgers with 27 kills and 10 digs while hitting .373 while senior middle blocker Carter Booth had 14 kills while hitting .

The Journal Sentinel had live coverage as Wisconsin volleyball faced Eastern Illinois in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

No. 3 seed Wisconsin volleyball swept Eastern Illinois and North Carolina in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday and Friday at The Field House, setting up a Dec. 12 date with No. 2 seed Stanford in the Sweet Sixteen.

No. 11 Wisconsin volleyball showed its 'grittiness' in the Badgers' four-set win over No. 22 Minnesota at the UW Field House.

Texas coach Jerritt Elliott had high praise for Wisconsin and explained why the Badgers have been playing their best volleyball at this time of year.
