At 2:59 a.m. EST on Monday, the National Weather Service released an updated high wind warning in effect until 7 p.m. EST for Isabella, Gratiot, Clinton, Ingham and Jackson counties.
On Monday at 12:39 p.m. a high wind warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 7 p.m. until Wednesday 1 a.m. for Franklin, Worcester, Hampshire, Hampden and Middlesex counties.
A winter storm warning is in place for the eastern and western U.P. and most of the Lower Peninsula, mainly along the western snowbelt. A high wind warning is in effect for southeast Michigan because of the potential for 60 mph wind gusts. The Great Lakes are under storm, gale, and heavy freezing spray warnings.
