As we transition from a soggy December to a warm-up next week, there are several weather hazards that will make for a tricky set of days. Here is a look at your full forecast.

On Thursday at 8:18 p.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 11 p.m. until Friday 11 a.m. for Southern Erie.

A few showers and storms early, followed by more widespread rain and storms late in the day and into the overnight hours. Expect impacts to the evening commute and dinner plans Friday night and morning plans on Saturday. Highs Friday will be near 70.

The alert, in place from 4pm until 11pm on Thursday, says ‘violent gusts’ will hit parts of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
