Knicks won on the road to take Game 1 of the NBA Finals

The New York Knicks dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers during the Eastern Conference finals of the 2026 NBA playoffs, defeating the Cavs in four games. That means they're headed to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.

The San Antonio Spurs have defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-103 in Game 7 of the 2026 Western Conference finals, and will face the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals. Victor Wembanyama had 22 points and 7 rebounds while Julian Champagnie added 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting from 3.

The San Antonio Spurs will play for their first NBA title since 2014 after knocking off the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference finals.
