Former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle was among the several people killed Thursday in a plane crash at Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina. NASCAR confirmed that three of Biffle's family members were also killed in the tragic accident.

A terrifying video has emerged showing the doomed plane carrying NASCAR legend Greg Biffle and his family exploding in a ball of flames.

Cathy Grossu told CBS news that Cristina texted her “We’re in trouble, emergency landing” after the plane took off.
