A winter storm watch has been issued in the Twin Cities, where heavy snow is expected to fall across much of Sunday, while strong winds could bring blizzard conditions to central parts of Minnesota.

Meyer is urging drivers to give themselves plenty of room between vehicles, and to try to move over to give plow drivers a chance to do their work. Finally, she says, with a blizzard warning in central Minnesota, there’s the possibility of closing interstates because of snow and wind.
"Another round of freezing rain will move in this evening through early tomorrow morning, with icy & slick travel expected as it falls and afterwards," the NWS Twin Cities says. "Temps will be very close to freezing, and how much ice ends up accumulating will be closely tied to how warm we are."
