Michigan football gets a commitment from Utah DL Jonah Lea’ea
Michigan football has secured its sixth transfer portal commitment under new head coach Kyle Whittingham. Former Utah defensive tackle Jonah Lea’ea has committed to play for the Wolverines. Lea’ea is expected to be an immediate starter on the defensive line for Michigan.
Four-star defensive back Jamarion Vincent headlines the early enrollees on the defensive side of the ball. The 6-foot-2, 165-pound cornerback from Waco, Texas, was recruited by former Michigan defensive backs coach LaMar Morgan, yet followed through with his signing and arrived on campus this week.
"Get rid of the drama and just getting back to playing Michigan football without all the distractions,” coach Kyle Whittingham said to Dan Patrick.
