Woods was scheduled to play his first official PGA Tour event since The Open, but he said Monday that he won't compete after all and is 'still processing' his mom's death.

After originally committing to the field at Torrey Pines, Tiger Woods has withdrawn from the 2025 Genesis Invitational, the event he has hosted in California since 2020. The 15-time major champion posted on social media that he tried his best to prepare for the tournament but is still processing the passing of his mother.

Woods has backed out of the Genesis Invitational this weekend while he mourns the loss of his mother, Kultida Woods.
