A rapper known as Dolly Mike was found guilty of shooting a former friend in the face outside The Avenues mall in 2023.
"This case showed a conscious and deliberate decision to escalate a confrontation into deadly violence," a prosecutor said.
A friend of the victim told police the shooting stemmed from a past dispute over a woman.
