I'm reinstalling Windows XP on a Dell desktop. I get to the point where it says it's installing devices; then, it hangs at 37 minutes. The blurbs to the right rotates through its usual pages.

Got a few Dell Optiplex GX260's in the office. P4 2.8c (hyperthreading), 2 gb RAM. Most of they were received with Hyperthreading disabled. Windows XP was installed showing only a single processor. I ...
