National Grid has said 44,619 properties are currently without power in the wake of Storm Goretti. There are a reported 197 power cuts across the South West. The National Grid has just updated its power map at 7.32am. Currently it lists 151 power cuts in Cornwall, with 41,731 properties affected.

Nearly half a million people had their power cut on Friday as a strong storm unleashed winds over 130 mph in France and the United Kingdom.
