Colorado will open the 2025 season as a 4.5-point underdog against Georgia Tech at Folsom Field, according to FanDuel. Despite playing host to the Yellow Jackets, the Buffaloes find themselves on the wrong side of the spread for this much-anticipated matchup on August 30.

Heading into their third season under coach Deion Sanders, the Buffaloes have pieced together a strong class of high school recruits. Led by four-star quarterback Julian Lewis, Colorado’s 14-player 2025 high school recruiting class is among the top 40 nationally in 247Sports’ team composite rankings.

Colorado finished the season with a 9-4 record and a 7-2 mark in Big 12 play. They were listed as the No. 4 team in the Big 12 standings, just two years after the program went 1-11. While the Buffaloes have been extremely successful under Sanders between the white lines, that success has also extended to the classroom.
