Omaha's Weather Leader has deemed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday as impact weather days with subzero wind chills expected.

Our ABC-7 First Alert continues for widespread rain this afternoon in the Borderland. We are tracking colder air to drop in from a backdoor cold front this evening. This will up our chances for a rain/snow mix or freezing rain.

With bitterly cold temperatures hitting Kentucky, community advocates are working to ensure those living on the streets have a warm place to go.

While it can be convenient to leave certain items in your car, with temperatures plunging, it's important to be mindful of what you leave behind.

The snow is expected to develop mid to late morning on Sunday. There will be heavy snow in the afternoon continuing into Sunday night. Anywhere from 10- 18 inches of snow is expected from Sunday to Monday.
