Update: The CHP canceled the Amber Alert for a Calaveras County 5-year-old who was believed to be abducted by his father.

(KGTV) -- A young girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert out of Northern California was found safe, and her father -- who was suspected of abducting her -- was arrested, according to authorities.
