Multiple airport workers have been arrested over a leaked video of the crash last week between an Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines plane near Reagan Washington National Airport, according to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA).

Two airport authority workers were fired, arrested, and charged for allegedly leaking security footage of the Black Hawk and American Airlines collision.

Two airport employees have been charged after allegedly leaking to CNN video footage of last week’s fatal plane and helicopter crash in Washington, D.C. The two videos aired by CNN on Friday offered the clearest views of the Jan. 29 collision over the Potomac River that killed 67 people.

Two Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority employees have been arrested and charged with leaking official airport records after apparent surveillance footage from Reagan National Airport showing last week’s collision between an American Airlines jet and an Army Black Hawk helicopter was shown on CNN.

The wreckage from both the plane and the helicopter will be taken to a hangar to be examined as part of the investigation into what led to the mid-air collision near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport last week that killed 67 people on both aircraft.

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority employees Mohamed Lamine Mbengue, and Jonathan Savoy, both of Maryland, are charged with computer trespass.
