Yogurt maker Danone is recalling one of its most popular products after multiple complaints of plastic pieces inside. "YoCrunch products sold at retail stores nationwide due to the potential presence of plastic pieces in the dome topper. If consumed, the plastic pieces could potentially cause a choking response," a Danone press release reads.
YoCrunch yogurt products are being recalled nationwide by manufacturer Danone U.S., the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Monday, July 14. The recall is due to the “potential presence of plastic pieces in the dome topper.”
The latest, on Monday, was Danone U.S.' voluntarily recall of all flavors and sizes of its YoCrunch yogurt, following consumer complaints about the potential presence of sharp, transparent plastic pieces in the yogurt's dome topper, the company said.
