Man shot to death by Salem police identified; investigation ongoing
The Oregon State Police has released the name of the man shot to death Wednesday by Salem police officers. The officers shot Shawn Lee Baker, 42, while he attempted to flee from them around 11:30 a.m. near the 3200 block of River Road North, the Oregon State Police said in a statement.
