It all started as a result of manhole fires on Saturday. The utility said those manhole fires were triggered by melting snow from last week's storm. CBS News New York's Lisa Rozner reports.

Local officials pushed to bring emergency assistance to the streets of Park Slope on Monday as a dayslong power outage continued.

The injured man, 27, was wiping down a Toyota Sienna at Golden Touch Car Wash, on Fourth Ave. in Park Slope, when his co-worker, 37, unexpectedly accelerated the SUV, cops said.

Nearly 2,000 Brooklyn residents are still without power as crews have been working to fix a weather-related outage since Saturday. CBS News New York's Elijah Westbrook reports.
