PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A former Portland Trail Blazer will spend eight years in prison for raping a woman at a Lake Oswego party. Ben McLemore was found guilty on Thursday, July 3, in a Clackamas County courtroom. He was found guilty of rape and sexual abuse of a woman at the home of former Blazer Robert Covington in October 2021.

Former NBA player Ben McLemore was sentenced to 100 months in Oregon state prison on Wednesday after recently being found guilty of sexually assaulting a then-21-year-old woman at a house party in the Portland suburb of Lake Oswego in 2021.

Ben McLemore, a former forward and guard for Kansas and five NBA teams, will serve eight years in prison for raping and sexually assaulting a 21-year-old woman in 2021.
