A Spider-Punk animated feature from Daniel Kaluuya & Ajon Singh is in development at Sony, Deadline has learned.

“Spider-Punk,” a spinoff of 2023’s animated hit “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” is in early development at Sony Pictures Animation. Daniel Kaluuya, who voiced the character in the comic book sequel, and Ajon Singh are developing and co-writing the feature.

Daniel Kaluuya will swing back into the story of Spider-Punk a.k.a. Hobie Brown in an upcoming animated film about the character. Two years after being voice of the character in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, according to Deadline, the Oscar winner has been attached to co-write a Spider-Punk project along with screenwriter Ajon Singh.
