WEST FORK, Ark. -- A married couple was found dead on a walking trail in Devil's Den State Park on Saturday afternoon, Arkansas State Police said, adding that a suspect is being sought and the deaths are being investigated as a potential double homicide.
There was a heavy law enforcement presence Monday morning at Devil's Den State Park, but otherwise the park was mostly empty as authorities continued their investigation into a suspected double homicide that occurred at the park over the weekend.
According to ASP, Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, were hiking with their two young daughters on Saturday when they were attacked on a trail. The girls, ages 7 and 9, were not injured and are now safe with family members, ASP confirmed on Sunday, July 27.
