SF Giants starter Justin Verlander did not pitch in Sunday's 8-6 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. However, his presence was felt, as home umpire Chad Whitson roasted the future Hall of Famer before he was ejected.

Verlander’s incredibly tough start to his time with the Giants got worse Friday, when Verlander was handed another loss while allowing four runs in just 2.2 innings pitched. Two days later, as the Giants were in the process of getting swept, Verlander came back into the spotlight while sitting in the dugout.
