Organizers of the “No Kings” demonstrations said millions had marched in hundreds of events. In Oregon, tens of thousands of people gathered in downtown Portland for two large protests -- one that began in Tom McCall Waterfront Park and the other at the Oregon Convention Center.

Loren Malone, co-founder of Indivisible Tri-Cities, the local organizer, estimates nearly 5,000 peaceful demonstrators from around the region showed up to the “No Kings Day” protest. Kennewick was one of 2,000 cities across the nation that held protests expected to draw millions this weekend.
Protesters across the North Bay have started taking to the streets as part of a nationwide wave of rallies Saturday opposing President Donald Trump and what they call a rising threat of authoritarianism.
