This is truly a majestic site. The natural beauty is amazing. There is plenty of hiking and I'm glad we came in the offseason. I cannot imagine being here in the summer Full review by bcsystems

An amazing place which is a geological wonderland . So interesting to see the rock shapes that the natural forces of wind and rain have created . Lovely! Full review by Brandylady
Any recommendations to which airport to land from Istanbul ? How long do i need to stay in the area to cover the area ? i am mostly interested in the view and would like to try the hot air ballon. I have my parents with me is it tough to travel around without renting a car ? I will be travelling in April.

Hi, we spent 3 nights in Goreme in a cave hotel. It was brilliant. The balloons are stunning and well worth doing. The roads are windy and often very narrow and there is very little parking ! I would use local taxis as they are cheap. We had a local taxi for one complete day. He took us to many different places and view points. We wouldn’t have found them easily ourselves. If you get the chance go to one of the Abandoned cave Villages as they are amazing - need to be able to walk reasonably well and do wear shoes you can walk in! Fascinating place. Fly to Nevesir airport from Istanbul. Your hotel will order a taxi for you to transfer you to goreme. Takes less than an hour. Or there are excellent local coach transfers available at very good prices. They are comfy and very modern and run on time. Enjoy!
How much fees is for adults and kids for the park and what r the timings as we have small kids with us

There are no fees or times. This is an open air park, that is all over around you, when you are in Goreme. The only thing with opening times and tickets is the Ooen Air Museum, 1.5 km from the town, where you can visit several rock chapels. It opens from 8 to 5, or 6. Tickets around 3 €.
Looking at a trip here in late June. Is that too late to go? Too hot? What are typical daytime high temps then?
