The basin is in Franconia Notch SP which is a beautiful area. It is a relatively short walk under the interstate but not accessible for those who can’t walk well. Not crowded and well worth the stop. Full review by esprouls47

We were there in November. I’m sure it would be more fun in summer to dip your toes in the water but the cold surely didn’t stop some travelers from stripping down & jumping in! It’s an easy path to do with kids. Worth the quick stop no matter the season in my opinion.
